THeoREM Workshop at Centrale Nantes on 29-30 January 2020

THeoREM's scientific and technical teams met at Centrale Nantes on 29-30 January 2020 for a technical workshop to discuss experimental tools and methods for hydrodynamic testing.

During the workshop the scientific and technical teams - from IFREMER's Hydrodynamics Laboratory and the LHEEA (Centrale Nantes) - focussed on innovative software-in-the-loop methods applied to the simulation of aerodynamic loading on floating wind turbine models.

The workshop also provided an opportunity to review the development needs for measurement scales for multi-component loads.
