NEMOH

Nemoh is a Boundary Element Methods (BEM) code dedicated to the computation of first order wave loads on offshore structures (added mass, radiation damping, diffraction forces). It has been developed by researchers at Ecole Centrale de Nantes for 30 years. It is still used in many of our research projects. Typical use is estimation of dynamic response of floating structures or performance assessment of wave energy converters.

ISIS-CFD

Since the 90’s, the research group METHRIC have carried out research leading to the development of the CFD code ISIS-CFD. This software environment is designed for the numerical simulation and modelling of turbulent flows for incompressible viscous fluids around geometries of arbitrary complexity. This numerical tool is constantly evolving with the progress in physical modelling and algorithms used to represent complex physical phenomena.

HOS-OCEAN

HOS-Ocean is a numerical model dedicated to the propagation of non-linear wave fields in open ocean with arbitrary constant depth. It is based on the High-Order Spectral (HOS) method which enables the simulation of highly non-linear wavefields. It has been developed at Ecole Centrale de Nantes for 10 years and is used in several research projects.

HOS-NWT

HOS-NWT is a numerical Wave Tank based on the High-Order Spectral (HOS) method. It is dedicated to the generation and propagation of highly non-linear wave fields in wave tanks with arbitrary constant depth. The proposed model reproduces all the features of an ocean wave tank: directional wavemaker, reflective walls and absorbing beach. HOS-NWT takes into account free surface nonlinearities as well as wavemaker ones. It has been developed at Ecole Centrale de Nantes for 10 years and is used in several research projects.
