European test sites are pioneers of ocean energy deployment and are used to navigate the many challenges it entails. They have done what no one else did before, and in the process, they learned, adapted, and perfected their methods.
In this session, 4 European test sites from the Ocean DEMO and BlueGift projects will share their experience, the challenges they faced and the solutions they created. From consenting to decommissioning, you will hear real behind the scenes stories on what it takes to put ocean energy technologies in the water.
The session will be followed by a Networking Drink from 17:30 to 18:00.
