EERA DeepWind'2018
EERA DeepWind’2018 is the 15th Deep Sea Offshore Wind R&D Conference. It was held in Trondheim, Norway from 17 to 19 January 2018. The LHEEA had 6 representatives: Vincent Leroy and Vincent Arnal PhD students, Sandrine Aubrun, university professor and Jean-Christophe Gilloteaux, research engineer from the Marine and Ocean Energy team as well as Izan Le Crom and Yves Pérignon, research engineers at SEM-REV, sea test site.
This international event aims to present the best of current R & D on offshore wind farms, fixed or floating.
This year, the LHEEA intervened 3 times:
Vincent Arnal presented a poster: “Designing FOWT mooring system in shallow water depth” - Download the poster

French Side Event
A delegation of research centers and French companies presented their expertise on Thursday, January 18 during a side-event dedicated to the French square, Sandrine Aubrun presented the Centrale Nantes activities in the offshorewind sector.This side event was jointly organized by WEAMEC et l’Institut Français de Norvège.
