Guest professor at Centrale Nantes: Dr. Grégory Payne

Dr Grégory Payne, Chancellor's Fellow at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland, will be at Centrale Nantes from 4 June to 27 July. He was invited by Aurélien Babarit, member of faculty in the Research Laboratory in Hydrodynamics, Energetics & Atmospheric Environment (LHEEA).

Dr. Payne is based in the Department of Naval Architecture, Ocean & Marine Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. Whilst at Centrale Nantes, he will be working on the relationship between the control law of propeller blade settings to improve performance on the TURBHO wave generator with respect to the quality of the swell and energy efficiency.
